Qur’aanic Verse 17.31:

 

Transliteration:

 31. Wala taqtuloo awladakum khashyata imlaqin nahnu narzuquhum wa-iyyakum inna qatlahum kana khit-an kabeeran

Translation:

 31. And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We give them sustenance as We give it to you. Killing them is indeed a great wrong.⁶

Study Note:

6. Killing the children in the mothers’ wombs (abortions), without even a medical necessity for it, is a modern day reprehensible rage.
